Walton Lane Nursery School and Rocking Horse Club is a very special place, set on the outskirts of Nelson, just a hop, skip and a jump away from Marsden Park and  beautiful countryside.  We offer high quality early years education and care for children from birth to five through our Maintained Nursery School and childcare services.  The children thrive in our exciting indoor and outdoor environments, as well as our vibrant Forest Nursery provision on site.

 

Our children and families are at the heart of everything we do at Walton Lane.  Children learn at the fastest pace between birth and five and it is a privilege to support them on that journey, helping them to become independent and inquisitive, thinkers and thoughtful, caring children with a love for learning.  This is only possible by working in partnership with parents and families.  You are the children’s first educators and greatest influencers.  You have such a depth of knowledge about your children that is invaluable in helping them to grow and develop and gain the most from their nursery experiences.

 

Walton Lane Nursery School and Rocking Horse Club serves families from across Nelson, Colne, Barrowford and beyond.  Families choose us for the quality of our education and care for all children which is led by teachers (QTS) and graduate staff, specialising in the early years.  We have a committed team of highly qualified and experienced staff and we believe that all children are unique and special and we always aim that our education and care reflects children’s individual needs.
